Happy Friday Everyone and Happy August 1st! Here in Austin Texas, it does not feel like August… yet. I’m sure later on this afternoon the feeling will change; but this morning as I stepped out onto my porch I felt a little fresh breeze that made me consider the idea of a light sweater.  It was just a consideration.  It’s warming up now, though still mild for an Austin summer.

As the temps do rise, keep cool and keep fueled.  Here’s an excellent good for you smoothie recipe:

It’s Berry Good for You! And you can make some fun smoothie art as you create your smoothie concoctions!

Smoothie Recipe ~ Berry Good for You:

Grab your whole organic ingredients.  Fresh or frozen fruits will work just fine.

  • 1 large banana (frozen will help make smoothie thicker)
  • 1 large handful of blueberries
  • 3 large peach slices
  • Dash of Cinnamon
  • 1 cup of Organic Milk or Milk substitute.

Nourish yourself with antioxidants, vitamin C, Potassium.
