The J Wedge was designed to combat plantar fasciitis by stretching areas know to cause plantar fasciitis, namely the plantar fascia. It is super easy to use. Just prop it up next to a wall and start stretching. Each stretching session consists of stretching each toe or group of toes for 30 seconds on each foot three to four times per day. Since the J Wedge is so small and light, you can bring it with you just about anywhere.
The J Wedge was created by Mike Janzen, an avid runner, and his wife Carolyn, a physical therapist. They hail from McPherson, Kansas.
Mike and Carolyn designed the J Wedge to be an inexpensive, non-invasive treatment option for heel pain commonly associated with plantar fasciitis.

The J Wedge is one of those products that makes you say “Why didn’t I think of that”. A seemingly simple concept that when applied over time can help alleviate the nagging issue of plantar fasciitis. While the J Wedge might not be the silver bullet for fixing all runner related injuries, it does a great job stretching the foot in areas where problems may arise.
One improvement I would suggest making to the J Wedge is to add some sort of anti-slip or rubberized coating section to the front of the J Wedge. I did find that when using the product, my toes sometimes slipped down, especially when sweaty.
